DESCRIPTION: The purpose of the Clinical Supervision II class is to train clinical supervisors, clinicians, and other service providers who already have acquired basic supervisory skills - and/or who have or will have a supervisory role - on how to observe and coach their supervisees in the proper application of these skills in diverse and integrated care environments. Where the focus in the Clinical Supervision I class was on the relationship between the client and the supervisee, the focus in the Clinical Supervision II training is on the relationship between the supervisor and the supervisee. The class discusses strategies to utilize evidence-based tools and practices intentionally and effectively along the entire continuum of care from prevention through recovery.
